Overview.
Barts Health NHS Trust commissioned us to help with two major documents for 2012 – the Annual Report and Quality Account, which were both produced in Microsoft Word.
Annual Report 2012
This was the new Trust’s first annual report, and it was designed in a simple, clean format for clarity and to keep costs down. Catherine proofread the report, working to a set number of hours that had been allocated within the budget.
Quality Account 2012
The QA is an important document for the Trust, setting out how they perform against various quality and safety measures. It contains a large number of tables and charts, which require careful formatting. It’s also a multi-author publication that needs a clear, consistent and authoritative tone. We responded accordingly. In 2012, Catherine edited the text… and Lindsay styled it up in Word.
Patient leaflets
Catherine has rewritten many of the leaflets for patients, to help improve accessibility and communicate often complex medical concepts in a straightforward way. Many of the patient leaflets are produced in Word – so that staff can easily update them.
