We love working for Visit Isle of Wight – and this project involved creating a range of materials for the prestigious Pearl Izumi Tour.
Print advertising
We were responsible for all Visit Isle of Wight’s ‘off Island’ advertising, which appeared in the regional press and cycling publications. Each advert was adapted for the readership and we also created text for Pearl Izumi pull out supplements. We had a dual mission: to encourage visitors to attend the event and also promote the Round the Island Cycle route.
Digital advertising
We designed web banner ads for cycling websites and regional press websites.
Leaflet
We worked with stakeholders to create a general cycling booklet to promote ‘Bicycle Island’. This is aimed at everyone including families, serious road cyclists and off road specialists. The leaflet also incorporates the ‘drive less see more’ messaging for sustainable transport.
Tourism industry resources toolkit
We devised a toolkit containing copy and resources for tourism operators. They could use this as part of their own marketing, and this helped us to ensure that there was some consistency in the messages delivered across the Island and beyond.
